New storage cabinet “The Globe” was created by Studio Job for Gufram of Italy. This outstanding whimsical piece is for those who like travelling a lot bringing souvenirs back home.A small cabinet with a globe was designed for your souvenirs that bring back all the memories about the countries of travel and keep the noise and warmth of places you’ve visited.
The Globe Storage Cabinet For Your Souveniers
Gufram of Italy is known for their playful polyurethane foam furnishings. The cabinet is made of lacquered MDF and measures 95 x 44 x 195 cm. It is set with a soft polyurethane foam globe in the center, which stays in place when the doors are open or closed, and it actually moves. The cabinet was made in a limited edition of just 50 pieces.
Resembling furniture for kid’s rooms it actually perfectly fits any type of interior design. The Globe Cabinet is a very neat piece of furniture to have around. It’s not that tall and only comes in yellow. Six shelves for those memorable souvenirs have different shapes to also fit the books, bottles, and statues. But, of course, you can put there whatever you think would fit it better.
We really love this idea from Studio Job and are looking forward for another version of this cabinet made with see through doors, maybe. I mean don’t you actually want to see and relish the souvenirs you brought from all around the world? We hope they are going to use GRP instead of glass, though as it’s eco-friendly and more sturdy.
