Minimalistic Cube Court House
This minimalist Cube Court House was designed by Shinichi Ogawa & Associates. The house has an open parking and an enclosed living space. Designed in minimalistic style the Cube Court House is closed from the outside but on the inside it features a small court with a live tree.
The living and dining areas are located in one part of the house while the other rooms are divided form it by the court. There are no conventional windows in the house only a floor-to-ceiling frosted glass at the side of the building and the glazed walls that surround the court.
The house also features a glazed third floor penthouse and a roof terrace. The spacious house looks interesting due to its unconventional shape and an enclosed design. Such design provides with privacy and yet has plenty of natural lighting due to the court and roof terrace.
