Full of Light: The Sun House by Guz Architects
The Sun House designed by Guz Architects was built in Singapore in a bungalow area with an open layout for beautiful views and airflow. The L-shaped house features floor-to-ceiling windows framed in wood and some of them protected with the wooden bars. The interior is also designed with the sense of openness to show off the artworks and sculptures of the owner. A special wall with niches was created for artworks.
Thanks to the open glazed design the Sun House is full of natural light while the pond and the pool in the yard as well as trees and greenery make beautiful views. The yard lounge area is located underneath the pergola with greenery planted on its top. Beautiful and a great solution to go greener.
The interior design of The Sun House comes in white color scheme with wooden finishing at the ceiling, window frames and walls as well as furniture. The living area features a soft furniture set facing the pond and green yard as well as a dining table with set of chairs, wall niches with sculptures and art.
The stairs to the second story come with a glass handrail that continues through to the other rooms of the house creating an open balcony without interrupting the open layout of the house. In the evening the outdoor lights illuminate the pond, the built-in water lights illuminate the pool while pergola features ceiling built-in lights that allow to use it at nights.
