How to Create Warm Living Room Design
What makes a room warm? If you want a homey and welcoming living room making it warm and cozy is easy with our tips. Obviously the color scheme plays a great role in making the mood and atmosphere of the room. If the colors are dull and neutral the room can look either calm and neutral or boring and blank depending on design and decor. If the colors you choose are warm they will make your room look warm.
Warm Colors
No matter how obvious this tips is, warm color scheme can mixed with colder and darker shades and transform the mood of the room. So stick with warm colors of various shades that nicely contrast or match and maintain the warm color scheme in your living room design.
Yellow, orange, red and all their shades and tones are warm. They are great at reflecting natural lighting filling the room with light and warmth. Yellow-based white can also be great if you are for pastels and neutrals but avoid then blue and grey-based whites as they will make the room look cold.
Upholstered Furniture
Puffy armchairs and sofas with abundant throw pillows and cushions add warmth and welcoming touch to the room. If you however like firm furniture opt for wooden furniture with unfinished look as the natural materials add warmth to the interior design.
Plants and Flowers
Plants and flowers fill home with warmth and life. So nice plant pots, little home gardens and flowers will make your room look lived in and lively. Besides you will need some natural lighting in for your plants and natural lighting is best at making the room look warm and inviting.

Absolutely adore both of these warm living room spaces you created. Do you source where these pieces are from? I’d love to get both the large, rustic clock…and the alphabet art on the wall.
