Fresnel lens is a thinner lens that allows to view smaller things. Big Bloom vase was conceieved as a tribute to Augustin Jan Fresnel, a creator of Fresnel lens. Consisiting of a Fresnel Lens and a lab test tube as water container the Big Bloom gives a user a full view of a flower so as to see its intricate details.

The Fresnel lens stands on two legs and holds the test tube where flowers are kept. From the distance it looks like a flower vase but if you look through the lens the flower that is closest to it will become bigger and more detailed.

Thus Fresnel lens creates a picture out of the live flower while the lens itself looks like a frame. It can be an unusual and creative way to decorate home.
