Levitating Lighting from Light Light

Creative pieces always help to jazz up home decor. Here is a new lighting collection from Light Light run by a designer Angela Jansen and a mechanical and electrical engineer Ger Jansen. Using levitation technology that contains electromagnetic components and a control system Light Light has created these amazing levitating lamps powered by low-energy LEDs.

Levitating Lighting from Light Light

Description from Light Light:

To levitate and illuminate, the lamps are packed with futuristic electromagnetic components and LEDs and, yet, appear as elegant and light as a feather.

A timeless conversation piece: this handcrafted lamp can be dimmed but never ignored. It’s what’s missing that makes it so special. This is definitely a case of ‘less is more’. Available in two new energy-efficient models: ‘Silhouette’ and ‘Eclipse’.

The Silhouette lamp was designed as a classic table lamp with elegant shape and black finish. It nicely combines the traditional style and a modern twist.

The Eclipse was inspired by the natural phenomenon and can be seen to imitate one when viewed from above. The lamp has a hand-crafted glass stand that allows the nice contrast between the black spherical shade and a transparent stand material.

The lights are controlled simply with a touch. The intensity of light can be changed according to the user’s needs. Both lamps are elegant yet modern and simply eye catching due to their unusual appearance.
