Snarkitecture Box/Box Budget Residence
Architects Daniel Arsham and Alex Mustonen from Snarkitecture, a New York architecture firm have plastered the apartment walls with 25, 000 ping-pong balls. They called it Box/Box and it isn’t hard to imagine why. It really does look like a box but it is also incredibly creative and simple. A 90 m2 Box/Box residence is located in the or more exactly above 2.500 m2 office where Arsham works.
The place is a study in simplicity. Arsham’s got a bed with some built-in shelves and a dresser, where he keeps a few clothes. To enter the loft, he climbs a ladder through the office’s employee bathroom.
The idea of a loft has started off as an experimental design project. The apartment makeover took only two months and it’s called budget residence because its cost turned out to be less than $100 per square foot. The small space apartment is meant only for sleeping and dressing.

That’s right.
Either because they are tiny people OR because they are using fake oversized ping pong balls. Pick your own version
