Amazing House by Beckwith Interiors
Designing home of her own the head of the Beckwith Interiors studio Jamie Beckwith created an amazing modern but inviting interior. Inspired by the lighting commonly used in hotels and restaurants Beckwith decided to incorporate it into the interior but without compromising the inviting and homey atmosphere.
The pool house clearly has an interesting but traditional architecture. There are big arched windows and vaulted ceilings so the interior is somewhat traditional as well. There are wooden finishes and a neutral color scheme enhanced with a classic chandelier and wooden furniture.
However the modern element and the LED lighting that inspired Beckwith are still present. The wine cellar constructed with an acrylic tube shaped storage is lit with blue lighting which can also be seen in the house captured in an acrylic tube element in the corner.
Another amazing element that connects the pool house and the wine cellar is a transparent floor in one of the rooms that shows the wine cellar in all its LED-lit arched beauty.
The house is designed with attention to detail and contrast between textures and finishes. In the living room the painted walls are contrasted with a patterned feature wall with the fireplace.
The brown tiles are echoed throughout the house from the wine cellar floors to the dining area feature wall. The tiled pattern even appears in the living room rug.
The house is furnished with woven, modern and textured furniture. There are also wooden logs used as decoration. Some of the pieces look worn-out which adds a bit of shabby chic to the decor.
A huge living room glass entrance faces the swimming pool surrounded with amazing greenery like trees, bushes and shrubs. The tiled pool deck features a beautiful pool pavilion and a stone wall that provides with privacy.
