Organize x 3

Organize, organize, organize. A craft room can look cluttered because of all the tools so it’s important to organize them to achieve a cleaner look and create some kind of decor to the room. Use shelves, lockers, cabinets, and drawers to keep all your tools in order or out of sight.

Lively Color Scheme

Choose a nice color scheme for your craft room to create an attractive atmosphere. Decorate crisp white walls with your works or inspirational art pieces. Opt for pastels and neutrals to create a calmer atmosphere or on the opposite go for colorful energizing brights to keep your brain stimulated for work.

Furnishings

Get a good table for your work as well as invest in some quality lighting to make it easier to work. Add a plush seat to the room to always have a place to rest from work or contemplate your creations. It can be a sofa or a nice spacious armchair and a foot rest.

I have an empty front bedroom that I want to change into something else. I’m not sure what I want it to be so can you throw some ideas at me?

    Hey, Camille,

Well, there are a lot of things you could do actually. You could make it into a study or home office, a seating room (like a conversation pit), or a guest room. If you’re interested in fitness, you could make it into your personal gym, or if you’re a fashion enthusiast – a dressing room. You could use it as a separate dining room or if you have it, a game room with a billiard or foosball table. If you darken the windows, it could become your own cinema/media room or a family room. Finally, if you like reading, why not turn it into a library?

It all depends on your interests and budget really.
