Item Of The Week: Exposition Chair by Alphaville Design
Exposition Chair from Alphaville Design is an item that can be seen in so many modern interiors it is impossible to ignore. Originally known as Barcelona chair, it was designed by Mies van der Rohe exclusively German Pavilion in 1929. Upholstered in genuine Italian leather Alphaville Exposition Chairis a modern classic reproduction. Tufted cushions rest on the stainless steel base and the crossed legs make it look interesting.
The chair can complete a living room seating area or serve as a reading nook seat thanks to its slightly reclined back and soft but firm cushions. It can also be paired with a similar style ottoman which can be used as a separate seat as well. The chair can be found in a variety of colors from milky white to bright red to fit almost any color scheme.
