Swarovski Elements Wallpaper Collection
Swarovski is known for its crystals and jewelry lines. But the brand ventures into various other fields and this time it has nothing to do with the crystals…well, at least not entirely. Swarovski Elements Wallpaper collection is a range of beautiful wall coverings created in various patterns created by the wallpaper designer Karen Beauchamp. Eleven beautiful designs feature flock, mirror-like foil, metallic leather effect ink, Cabochon pearls,Crystal Strata, and, of course, colored crystals.
The patterns in Elements Wallpaper collection include stripes, diamond, damask, and flock. There are three striped wallpaper designs in black and white, red and pink red, and white and blue with the silver wave stripes over the white stripes. The copper diamond-patterned wallpaper is a playful design while the red and purple damask-patterned wallpaper will give a room a luxury feel. This latter one also comes in black and copper, gray and pearl, and beige and pearl color combinations.
There is also a metallic finish wallpaper design with a grid that comes in silver and gold decorated with crystal-covered circles. And, of course, the Cashmere design that has the finish of cashmere decorated with the leaf pattern that is also decorated with crystals.
Each design is available in several color combinations. The finishes are shiny and metallic or velvet-y decorated with the Swarovski crystals. Given that these exquisite wall coverings were carefully crafted and have decorations on them the proper installation is really important. That’s why the company provides the instructions of how to hang this beautiful wallpaper.
First of all it’s important to pay attention to pattern when wallpaper is cut and hung. The walls should be prepared with old wallpaper, paint and paste removed. The new plaster should dry out completely before hanging the wallpaper and the adhesive should be applied to the walls rather than paper. There are also quiet specific requirements to the adhesive.
The photography that shows Elements Wallpaper designs on the walls is by Philip Karlberg. It really shows the wallpaper’s beauty and how it looks “in action”.
