Colorful Storage Units by Lanzavecchia + Wai

Lanzavecchia + Wai is designer collaborators Francesca Lanzavecchia and Hunn Wai. Fragmented 01 is a colorful storage units design. The Fragmented 01 storage units are sleek shelves draped into colorful fabrics. The three units vary in size and can be stacked and used separately. Different colors in each unit make up together a decorative color block storage system.

Description by Lanzavecchia + Wai:

An archetypical and stoic storage furniture is broken down into three mobile volumes that nest into each other. Solid panels are replaced by bands of flexible fabric not only as a textural pleated surface treatment but also pragmatically; the storage volume can be accessed from all sides and through any point.

Fragmented 01 is great for storing things without exposing them. The flexible fabric covers provide an easy access to the stored stuff. The Fragmented storage unit series continue in Fragmented 02. These are the same storage units only made in form of same-size shelving. The color combo includes blue and purple hues that complement each other.  The blocks of shelves are separable.
