Beehive Chair by Graham Roebeck
Beehive Chair by Graham Roebeck is sculptural and stylish. Its dynamic design can add movement and detail to any minimalist and modern decor. The intricate shape is both functional and stylish.
Beehive chair is beautiful and unusual. The winner of the inaugural 2011 Formica Formations competition Beehive chair won’t go unnoticed inside the house. A statement piece was made from Lakepine Zero polished with beeswax. The design was realized by designer David Trubridge.
Exploring the theme of today’s highly portable art and media –interpreted through the analogy of sculpture as frozen music- the form is that of a non portable guitar pick and a gourd that are rendered immovable. Frozen.
The Beehive sculptural chair looks beautiful and stylish. It would add dynamics and movement to the interior and definitely function as an eye catcher and a statement piece. What do you think of Beehive Chair?
