Take A Look Inside New York’s First Micro Apartment Complex
Carmel Place is New York’s first micro-apartment complex. A prefab building that was two years in development is now leasing 250-370 sq ft apartments for $2,500 and $2,800 monthly rent. The interesting part, though in of course the interior that was designed and finished with as many functions as possible.

The light interior color scheme reflects the light from the big window in the living room that is accented with neutral grey and light wood. The apartment is a studio with kitchen opposite to the living room/bedroom. The furnishings are transforming, which allows to utilize space without cramming the room.
The kitchen is also white with a sky blue backsplash and stainless steel machines and countertop. There is a folding table that can seat a few people and create a decent dining area.
The hallway includes a beautiful storage unit that can hold both a wardrobe and suitcases and seasonal clothes. Additional services that will be included in the rent are cable, Wi-fi, housekeeping, and even a butler.
