SAOTA and OKHA Interiors have designed this three-level Sandton penthouse in modern ethnic style with a technological touch. The luxury penthouse was designed in collaboration of two design studios SAOTA and OKHA Interiors in Johannesburg, South Africa. The interior design is an new take on urban luxury home by removing walls creating a smooth flow from outdoors to the indoor area.

In effect, we created a wall-less 900m² penthouse, with a garden, that gives the impression of levitating above the city mass.

We created a continual flow from zone to zone, utilising materials that emphasised the sense of space, transparency and reflection. We introduced organic textural / tactile elements through the use of timber and flamed granite to soften and add a counterpoint to the contemporary drama.

Sandton penthouse interior design is really open and yet each area stands out and marks its function and its own style. The furniture and materials used in various areas are different on purpose. In order to demarcate a bedroom from dining room without separating and dividing areas with walls designers stylized every room as a separate dimension however harmoniously blending it into the rest of the decor.

The outdoor boasts beautiful green lawn with beautiful statues and the swimming pool. The window view is simply epic. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows allow breathtaking views into the house. A wise use of accessories and decorations make this penthouse very stylish and yet welcoming and warm.
