The mansion has living rooms, formal rooms, seven bedrooms, three bathrooms. The house also boasts cellars, a gym and a closed north wing. There is also a pool, a tennis court and stables with a farm in 856 hectares. The house is surrounded by trees and also lawns and flower beds.

It’s is not the only house of JK Rowling’s though in Tasmania. Another Gregorian mansion will be run by a manager while Rowling is away.

The house is decorated in traditional elegant style with elements of rustic or cottage decor. The light kitchen is really impressive as it is finished with light wood against off white walls. The formal and living rooms boast big fireplaces while the ceilings in living rooms are lushly decorated with molding.
