3 Interior Design Ideas To Steal From This New York Loft
Located in East Village this light-filled loft was designed by Shadow Architects that managed to bring homeliness to the former hospital building. Tall big windows let plenty of light into the open layout living space while neutral colors and warm wooden floors add sense of comfort to the atmosphere. Sliding steel-framed home office doors accentuate the modern minimalist style of the interior and everything else is kept neutral and sleek.
Roll-Down Screen
The living room just outside the office features a roll-down screen and a projector. While the windows are closed with white opaque blinders the office glass doors can be shut with grey drapes.
Kitchen Island Bookshelf
In the kitchen there is plenty of space that allows for a big dining area. The kitchen island is equipped with shelves on the outer side. There the owners keep the books but it might as well be dishes and decorative vases.
Realistic Oversize Floral Wallpaper
The wallpaper in the bath is depicting realistic oversized white flowers that make it look phenomenal and its almost black and white color scheme makes the scale almost neutral and not at all overwhelming. What do you think?
