10 Modern Houses With Integrated Pools

Modern houses often feature a design that integrates a swimming pool into the house structure thus not only saving space on the sight but also creating a connection between indoors and outdoors. The connection between the house and swimming pool makes for an interesting exterior.

Houses With Integrated Pools

C1 House

For instance, a C1 House by Dettling Architekten features a swimming pool with the house structure standing upon it. Thus the swimming pool acts like an ancient trench with a brigde that allows access to the entrance.

M House

M House by ONG&ONG has an indoor/outdoor plan with its ground level open to outdoors where the wooden terrace is surrounded by water allowing a direct access to the pool without extra space between the house and deck and pool.

Robinson Road House

Robinson Road House designed by Steve Domoney Architecture features a terrace which ends with a pool that rounds it and can also be seen from inside the house through a glass wall, almost as if the swimming pool was half indoors.

SA Residence

SA Residence by SHATOTTO features a swimming pool that’s not really inside the house but neither it is outdoors. The structure allows the swimming pool be isolated from the outdoors and yet the transparent roof floods it with natural light.

SGNW House

SGNW House by Metropole Architects is also one of those houses with a terrace that leads straight to the swimming pool that divides a main house terrace from a pergola with an outdoor lounge area.

House Aboobaker

House Aboobaker by Nico van der Meulen Architects features a swimming pool that’s closely integrated with the house design. The pool goes under the structure creating an interesting look.

H.2 Residence

H.2 Residence designed by 314 Architecture Studio has a swimming pool surrounding the building with the stairs that allow the access to the pool. The resulting look gives the feeling of a house standing on water.

Casa Mecano

Casa Mecano by ROBLESARQ stands on a platform with a wooden terrace into which the swimming pool is built. The swimming pool seemingly extends the terrace which is accessed via stairs below.

Hijauan House

Hijauan House by Twenty-Nine Design allows to access the pool from one entrance which is enhance with a hovering wooden terrace. The pool can be accessed from the stairs at the side but the terrace also functions as a poolside seating space.

House in Melides

House in Melides designed by Pedro Reis also has a swimming pool flowing under the structure giving the feeling of the house standing upon it.
