Desert House
Desert House is another amazingly stylish prefab home in Desert Hot Springs designed by Marmol Radziner. The 2000 square foot house features an outdoor-indoor plan connecting a covered outdoor area with the indoors that open up to the beautiful outdoor views thanks to the glaze walls. The house features a fire pit and a swimming pool in a courtyard.
Sustainable Eco-House
Fully prefabricated Sustainable Eco-House by Djuric Tardio Architects is made entirely out of wood. A house is insulated well to reduce the energy consumption from heating and cooling. The house’s special thing is a pitched roof that looks like it was left unfinished but in fact provides the house with a pergola for a vegetable terrace with plenty of sunlight.
Prefabricated Nature
Prefabricated Nature designed by MYCC studio has a traditional house shape but made of perforated steel its walls add a special touch to the house design. The steel perforated walls feature tree-shaped forms that create a play of light and shadow from the outside as well as on the inside. During day time the trees are on the inside while in the dusk when the artificial lighting is on the tree shapes are illuminated on the facade.
House M
House M by Caramel Architects looks simply stunning. Made of prefabricated insulated panels the house stands on a concrete slab and features stylish crisscrossed pillars that support the structure and add to the design. The house has a covered terrace area and a swimming pond.
Casa SIP
Casa SIP zero-waste house designed by Alejandro Soffia and Gabriel Rudolphy was built with modular and prefabricated design in mind. Using Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) the stylish Casa house was produced in merely ten days and has a stylish wood-clad facade and open side on the ocean.
Villa Of Villa-Signature Series
Villa-Signature Series is a project by Daniel Libeskind that sees to produce two-story crystal-shaped villas. Beside beautiful and stylish design this amazing villa has a design that supports solar thermal and rain harvesting systems. The electricity can also be obtained from photovoltaic thin film making this villa a sustainable house unit with loweredevnvironmental impact. The four bedroom/bathroom villa also has a grand room, a wine cellar, a fireplace room, a kitchen, a basement sauna and a four-meter rain shower. A $2.8 to $4.2 million villa is on the pricier side as opposed to other cost-effective prefab homes.
Glenburn House
The Glenburn House by Sean Godsell is an amazing sustainable modern prefab home located on a hill of a beautiful farm. The solar collectors and rainwater harvesting system have become a part of the house’s design. The interior is finished with wood and double glazing windows.
Floating House
MOS Architects has designed a Floating House on Lake Huron. Due to the nature of site the house was prefabricated. The wooden home floats on the pontoons and features a a deck and a bridge to the solid ground and the opposite shore.
Prefab House
Prefab house from Subissati is a combination of modern and traditional as it features a familiar form and is made of wood and yet looks contemporary and aesthetic. Designed by Roberto Semprini this house features floor-to-ceiling doors that lead to the outdoors and three square windows built into the pitched roof.
