Maison & Objet: Traveling to Wildlife from Moissonnier
Commode Buffet L. XV by Moissonnier
Classical models by Moissonnier are real “showcase” of current trends. Almost every season they get new colors from monochromatic pastels to chess cells; from pastoral colors to imitations of vintage suitcase stickers.
According to tradition, Parisian agencies of styles announced the latest trends for the upcoming season on the winter session of the Maison & Objet International Salon.
Elsewhere is the main trend. We are invited to go beyond and push the boundaries. Travelers, nomads, wanderers and Globe-Trotters are in trend. The trend defines life as an exciting adventure, offers new mobile devices, sends to uncharted spaces in search of treasure.
Parisian agencies of styles and iconic trendsetters gave their interpretation of Elsewhere. Each of them presented its exposition.
As part of the new trend Moissonier “travels” to exotic countries. Spotted leopard skin, tigers, tropical flowers and birds are on the facades of the French brand bestsellers: hand-painted dresser and drawer units in the style of Louis XV.
Moissonnier once again found something to surprise experienced audience, turning a stand in the real jungle with their exotic inhabitants. Prints and paintings on dressers and upholstery of chairs and sofas were presented in the form of the mysterious forest with wild animals, colorful birds and fabulous flowers.
The chest buffet Commode Buffet L. XV left an unforgettable impression. Previously it appeared in Moissonnier collections in pastel shades of pink, silver-gray and golden. The buffet in the new collection is painted in bright colors with images of fabulously beautiful mysterious world of flora and fauna. Most recognizable model of the Commode L. XV chest appeared in leopard “dress”. And charming birds of paradise are sitting alongside on the Bergere L. XIV chairs and Banquette L. XIV banquettes.
