Odds & Ends, Bits & Pieces, experimental furniture

Share |

Odds & Ends, Bits & Pieces is a collection of four experimental furniture pieces created by the Dutch designer studio Jo Meesters. The experimental project that was called TESTLAB started off with an idea of recycling old things turning them into something new. The constant search for new techniques, material abilities, and concepts is the main principle of Jo Meesters.

Specializing in craftsmanship and innovation Jo Meesters have made use of 34 useless wooden pieces and 16 blankets creating the Odds & Ends, Bits & Pieces. The collection consists of two couches, rack, chair and pouffe. This is an example of how one can use old neglected or discarded things in creating something new and useful.
