Véronique Maire has designed these interesting vases called Cantine made of a glass body and a cork top. The vases come in various shapes but the cork tops vary more prominently.

The Cantine vases were inspired by the regular glasses that make the body of the vase but the cork top is what gives the vase an interesting silhouette and shape.  The contrast between the glass and the cork top adds an unusual touch to the Cantine vases. This contrast in textures makes them a nice and playful display objects.
