Altdeutsche Möbel by Studio Job

Studio Job has created a furniture line for Moooi. Altdeutsche Möbel includes a blanket chest, a greandfather clock, and a cupboard. Made of solid pine wood the furniture pieces were painted white and then decorated with handdrawn symbols of life and death.

The traditional style and shapes of the furniture pieces contrast with thecolorful drawings and symbols making them more eye-drawing. Elegant framing was, however, left untouched so there is a nice contrast between the background and the colorful imagery.
