Creative Book Storage Ideas

Struggling with the book storage? There are quite a few creative ways to house at least your faavorite books in a small home. The books are often used in stacks as furniture pieces like a side table or a night stand. It’s convenient but if you want to display and store your books with care look into creative bookshelves, racks, and other design solutions.

The Poet’s Book Hanger by Jakob Jørgensen is a nice example of creative book storage. Consisting of a panel with wooden hangers the Poet’s Book Hanger has the books hanging from it but can also serve as a bookmark.

You can also try to make a bookshelf yourself. Materials like tree branches and pipes can help create a unique design of your own suited for your interior design and style.

Using some architectural elements you can house a good collection of books. Think stairs, just under the ceiling space, and walls. Some additional elements might be required such as shelving, for example.

Finally you can look into book-friendly furniture such as armchairs, coffee tables, and nigh stands that have additional space for storage or a storage-friendly design.
