Zephyros Villa in Cyprus by Koutsoftides Architects
A holiday Zephyros Villa in Cyprus designed and constructed by Koutsoftides Architects has become a residence for some lucky Londoners. Luxury villa with a suitable name ‘Zephyros’ located in Pomos, Cyprus is a project by Cyprus-based company Koutsoftides Architects that specializes in exploring new ideas. And the Zephyros Villa speaks for them telling about the original ideas the company had with this villa and challenges they faced.

For example, check out the Zephyros Villa‘s first floor. A patio divided by a swimming pool, pretty impressive, huh? The idea also was to allow the beauty of Cyprus into the house, so one can observe the sky and sun from inside the patio thanks to the opening in a ceiling and enjoy a panoramic view of the sea from the glass balcony.
Zephyros Villa also boasts a spacious kitchen with a great bar stand and colorful ambient lighting to create a party atmosphere. Some walls in the villa are made of wooden bars that allow natural lighting inside and also allow you to see the beautiful lush surroundings – the wild plants of neighboring cliff and aromatic smell of orange, lemon, and pin trees.
Koutsoftides Architects‘ London clients for whom this villa was constructed and designed as a vacation house decided to move to Cyprus in order to live in Zephyros Villa permanently. What praise of an architects’ or designers’ work can be greater than that?
