Halloween is just a month away and it’s time to think about Halloween decorations. Here are some ideas for budget-wise Halloween decor. Halloween is a fun time for DIY home decor. From paper bats to creatively carved pumpkins it is all up to you to decide how to decorate home for the holiday.

Classic Pumpkin

Pumpkin is a sure and easy way to bring Halloween spirit into the home decor. Try arranging the pumpkins and gourds of various shapes and color on the porch or on the mantel or around the fireplace. Sketch and carve them scary faces and add some accessories like hats or fake cobwebs.

Handmade Accessories

Using black paper you can cut out many various decorations for doorway, table and windows. Draw a stencil and then stack several sheet of black paper together and carefully cut it out. Thus you will get multiply decorations that you can use for your holiday decor.

Recycle Old Things

If there are some old things that would make great Halloween decorations it is a great chance to recycle them. An old black curtain can be ripped and dyed black to create an atmosphere of an old haunted house. Use old portrait frames to make new scary paintings or print out some Halloween-inspired pictures to decorate your home with.
