Our picture of the interior has always been conditioned by the specified modules: table, chair, wall, podium, stage, number of seats, screen, etc. Now imagine that none of this exists. There is only empty space that can be filled by any shapes in a few minutes, depending on your desires. Imagine that the interior is limited only by your imagination, and only your imagination affects the purpose of the space, its content and design. This makes us think of space in a new way: a space without given modules, but with constantly changeable, fantasy shapes.
The system operates on a fairly simple principle. The floor plane is divided into cells, each of which extends to a predetermined height by means of the jack. Thus, any object can “grow” from one plane in a few minutes. Equipping the space with such a system, we change the principle of working with space. Its purpose, interior and design become changeable category, which adapts to our desires and needs.

An innovation project called Space Generator, created by architects Gregory Malitsky and Marya Malitskaya was patented in 2012. It has already received two major awards. In April 2013 it was awarded A’Design Award 13 (Como, Italy), and in October, Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2013 – 2014 in Singapore. During the year, the prototype of the Space Generator can be seen at the Red Dot Museum of Design in Singapore, an annual attendance of which is more than 80,000 people.
The Space Generator cells’ surface can be finished with various materials like metal, wood, plastic, and even textile. But the most interesting function was given to the lateral edges of retractable elements. They can be decorated by led-diodes so they could form a screen. Thus, a huge monitor may appear from the floor in a few minutes.
